VELTIX Universe
Planet textures
Sun surface, Mercury surface, Venus clouds, Earth day, Earth night, Earth normal, Earth roughness, Moon detail, Jupiter detail, Saturn rings, Uranus and Neptune textures by Solar System Scope / INOVE.
Adapted for this website through resizing, WebP optimization, restrained color grading, and inverted-specular roughness preparation. The Sun uses a 2K desktop / 1K mobile surface, exposure-shaped photosphere, filtered procedural granulation, luminous limb and prominence loops. Solar color, corona and time are cinematic illustrations, not a live scientific observation. Planet surface relief and cloud winds are restrained artistic approximations.
Mars, Saturn and Pluto surface maps
NASA public resources, adapted through resizing and WebP optimization for local web delivery. Pluto uses the New Horizons MVIC global color mosaic PIA11707, credited to NASA/JHUAPL/SwRI. Original color and unmapped southern coverage are retained; small-scale relief is an artistic approximation, not measured topography.
Galactic background
Owner-supplied generated artwork, resized and optimized locally for the VELTIX Universe section.
Astronaut model
Extravehicular Mobility Unit by NASA / Michael D. Carbajal, from NASA's public 3D resource collection. Adapted through removal of MMU controls and insignia textures, geometry simplification and compression, woven-fabric shading, reflective gold visor materials, a shared skeletal rig and weightless choreography. NASA does not endorse VELTIX. Planetary cloud motion, ice-giant colors, rings and solar plasma are artistic enhancements.
Universe imagery is served locally by VELTIX. No runtime texture requests are made to the credited source websites. The solar-system composition and travel distances are illustrative. The eight planets are followed by Pluto, a dwarf planet in the Kuiper Belt.
